Carlos Rengifo, M.A. 

Carlos Rengifo brings a rich blend of clinical training, leadership experience, and theological education to his work with clients. He has earned multiple graduate degrees that reflect both his commitment to personal growth and his desire to help others with intention and integrity.

He completed a Master of Clinical Counseling from Wayland Baptist University in May 2025 and is currently working toward his LPC-A certification. His background also includes a Master of Organization Development and Leadership and a Master of Education, both from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. Before that, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Behavior from the Baptist University of the Américas.

His foundation in ministry and theology is equally strong. He holds a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master’s in Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Theological Seminary in Cali, Colombia.

His unique combination of clinical, educational, leadership, and theological training shapes his holistic approach to care. He is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families grow emotionally, relationally, and spiritually through practical support, compassion, and evidence-informed guidance.

HIS PHILOSOPHY

We are all going through or have gone through some rough times throughout our lives. So, as a dedicated pastor and counselor, I combine spiritual guidance with clinical counseling principles to help individuals and families find healing, purpose, and hope. With a heart for serving people in emotional, relational, and spiritual distress, I provide a safe and compassionate space where faith and evidence-based therapy meet. My approach integrates biblical wisdom, psychological insight, and practical coping strategies to support holistic transformation.
